NHTSA proposes cyan marker lights for self-driving cars
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Oct. 23 proposed a federal standard requiring cyan marker lamps on vehicles operating under automated driving systems. The proposal is open for a 30-day public comment period.

- Mercedes-Benz used turquoise lights on EQS and S-Class cars in California and Nevada since 2023
- The public comment period runs for 30 days
