WhatsApp Developing New Media Hub Feature For iOS

WhatsApp is developing a centralized media hub for iOS that gathers photos, videos, links and documents from all chats on one screen. The feature debuted on the Mac app and web version last November; the iOS build will include a dedicated received-media section but will not show media sent by the user.

• Media hub collects media, links and documents from all chats on one screen
• Search by sender, caption and URL, sort by date or file size
• iOS version will not display media sent by the user
• Disappearing messages will not appear in the media hub
