iOS 27 brings new CarPlay features, but only newer iPhones get them all

iOS 27 adds a mini-player with a progress bar, parked-only video, new wallpapers and Siri AI to CarPlay. Video and Siri AI require an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 16 and later, and Siri AI is unavailable in the EU.

• CarPlay video plays only when parked; in motion it switches to audio-only
• Siri AI in CarPlay needs an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 16 and later
• iOS 27 supports iPhone 11 and later, but older models miss Siri AI
• Navigation apps can share route data, including EV charging stops
