Atlassian ends Confluence XML export support on December 1, 2026

Atlassian will stop supporting XML site and space export in Confluence Cloud on December 1, 2026: the feature keeps working but bugs won't be fixed and support tickets won't be accepted. The supported replacement is CSV export, which can't be imported into Data Center and carries no email addresses.

• XML export keeps working but loses bug fixes and SLAs
• CSV export is available on all plans, including Free and Standard
• CSV cannot be imported into Confluence Data Center
• Automated CSV backups require Premium or Enterprise
