Atlassian opens Jira Automation Rules management API

Atlassian has made its Automation Rule Management API generally available at api.atlassian.com/automation/public, letting agents and scripts read, create, update and migrate Jira automation rules. Access requires an API token; Forge and OAuth2 apps cannot use the endpoint.

• API lives under /automation/public/ on api.atlassian.com or via the site gateway
• Reading rules works with a plain API token: a test returned 24 rules
• Forge and OAuth2 apps cannot access this REST resource
• Creating a rule requires a fresh UUID v7 and a real accountId on the target site
