Google App Code Reveals Gemini Phone-Linking for Cross-Device Tasks

A teardown of Google app v17.70.10.sa.arm64 uncovered a dormant "Connect phone" flow that would let Gemini use a linked handset to find contacts, send messages and run tasks from other devices. The feature is not yet live, and Google has not disclosed supported devices or timing.
