Googlebook cross-device features require an Android 17 phone
Google confirmed that key Googlebook cross-device features — task continuity, shared file access, phone app streaming and synced notifications — require a phone running Android 17. Apps with DRM-protected video or sensitive content such as banking apps can't be streamed and show a privacy screen instead.
