AWS adds managed 1:1 NAT to Transit Gateway and Cloud WAN
AWS announced that Transit Gateway and Cloud WAN now support managed one-to-one NAT directly on their attachments. The feature lets private networks with overlapping CIDR blocks interconnect without renumbering or separate NAT appliances, and is available in all AWS commercial regions.
- Translation applies in both directions across VPC, VPN, Direct Connect and SD-WAN
- Rules are set on the attachment via console, CLI, SDKs and CloudFormation
- Monitoring via CloudWatch and EventBridge; pricing follows the VPC model
- Available in all AWS commercial regions
