Anthropic hands Agent Skills standard to Agentic AI Foundation

Anthropic donated its Agent Skills standard to the Agentic AI Foundation, a Linux Foundation organization it co-founded with Block and OpenAI. The transfer covers the name, logo, GitHub organization and agentskills.io domain; more than 70 platforms, including ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and VS Code, have adopted the format.
