Agentic AI Foundation relaxes project rules with new sandbox phase

The AAIF, the Linux Foundation body hosting MCP and A2A, has changed its entry criteria from two stages to three: sandbox, growth and impact. The sandbox targets early projects with a single active maintainer, with check-ins at six and 12 months. Working groups are now open to non-members, while the foundation has grown to over 270 member organizations.
