Bolt launches Wheels4Wheels to map street surfaces for wheelchair users

Bolt has launched Wheels4Wheels, an open-source initiative that turns sensor data from its scooters into surface-quality ratings for wheelchair navigation. A Tallinn pilot collected 40.5 million accelerometer readings and produced 66,088 surface ratings, increasing the city's available surface-quality data by 26%. The method and data are released under the MIT licence.
