Final Fantasy VII Revelation Returns to a Transformed Midgar, Scope Comparable to Rebirth

Square Enix confirmed at Paris Games Week that Final Fantasy VII Revelation will bring Cloud and his companions back to a transformed, explorable Midgar, with its depths reachable through the Midgar Fissure. Director Naoki Hamaguchi said the first playthrough is comparable in scope to Rebirth and that the game will be "bigger and vaster." The title launches in 2027 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
