Hamaguchi details the scale of Final Fantasy VII Revelation

Square Enix studio head Naoki Hamaguchi told WIRED that fitting content into Final Fantasy VII Revelation was the challenge, not filling it out. The game expands Wutai into a full city, adds a planet-scale open world, Cid's airship Highwind, and the original's final playable characters, Cid and Vincent.
