NVIDIA RTXPT 1.9 path tracer is ~20% faster, adds Windows on Arm

NVIDIA released RTX Path Tracing 1.9.0, its open-source reference path tracer, claiming roughly 20% better performance than 1.8.1 with comparable or better image quality. The update adds Windows on Arm64 support, optional partial-pixel tracing and NEE-AT light sampling for up to 2 million lights.

• About 20% faster than version 1.8.1 at comparable quality
• Can trace 3/4, 1/2 or 1/4 of frame pixels
• NEE-AT handles up to 2 million lights, up from 512K
• Adds Windows on Arm64 support
