tsrs: Rust port of TypeScript compiler up to 6.5x faster than tsc

Cloudflare, VoidZero and an Owner.com developer released tsrs, a Rust port of the TypeScript 7 compiler available on npm. In a 2-vCPU test it ran 2.9–6.5x faster than tsc 7.0.2 with 2–4.2x less memory. The code was written by AI agents and the project is incubated in the Oxc toolchain.

• tsrs 0.18.0 is 6.5x faster than tsc 7.0.2 on zod and 4.3x on playwright
• Memory use is 4.2x and 3.0x lower respectively
• Owner.com cut CI type-check of 37k files from 80 to ~7 seconds
