Intel begins equipping new Fab 62 chip plant in Arizona

Intel has started installing production tools at Fab 62, a new chip factory in Chandler, Arizona. Operations are expected by the end of 2028, making it the sixth high-volume fab at the Ocotillo campus. The process node and wafer capacity remain undisclosed.
