n8n 3.0 goes Docker-only with breaking workflow changes

n8n 3.0 arrives in October 2026 with Docker as the only supported install method, dropping npm and npx. The Code node timeout drops from 5 minutes to 1 minute, the Function, Cron and Interval nodes are removed, AI Agent v1 modes give way to the Tools Agent, and Slack credentials now require a signing secret.
