China Mobile opens auto-industry AI foundation with 112.7 EFLOPS

China Mobile has launched a shared AI foundation for the auto industry, offering 112.7 EFLOPS of elastic compute, compliant data sharing and six AI agents covering design, manufacturing, intelligent driving and testing. The platform is already in use at more than ten state-owned carmakers, with claimed gains including 3x faster design and defect detection above 99.5%.
