Windows 11 tests a redesigned File Explorer context menu

Microsoft is testing a redesigned File Explorer context menu in the Windows Insider Beta channel, cutting top-level clutter, keeping common actions handy and adding settings to customize what appears. The same build set adds an internet speed test and phone controls to Quick Settings.

• New context menu ships in Beta Preview Build 26220.9757
• Settings let users choose menu items, plus a first-run teaching tip
• Quick Settings gains a built-in speed test with download, upload and ping
• Phone controls in Quick Settings are fuller on Android than on iPhone
