Googlebook adds Linux Terminal Preview with AI agent support
Google detailed a Linux Terminal Preview for Googlebook, a Debian environment running in an isolated virtual machine. AI agents can install packages, create files and run scripts, while host file access requires explicit permission.
- Linux runs in an isolated VM without host file access unless explicitly granted
- Supported runtimes include Python, Node.js, Ruby, Go, Rust, Git and SSH
- Antigravity comes preinstalled on supported models and needs a Google AI plan
