Chery unveils 1.44 MW EV charger: 311 miles in five minutes

Chery has announced its Volt-Dragon charging system rated at 1.44 MW, claiming it adds 311 miles of range in five minutes and charges a battery from 10% to 97% in six minutes and 50 seconds. The company also showed a solar-plus-storage microgrid with bidirectional V2G charging and plans to reach 20,000 charging stations worldwide by 2029.
