AWS launches Lambda Web Functions for Node.js apps

AWS introduced Lambda Web Functions, letting developers run Node.js apps built with Express, Hono, Fastify or Next.js directly on Lambda without adapters, with concurrent requests and response streaming. Billing is based on active CPU time and memory rather than time spent waiting on downstream services. The service is available in five regions and currently supports only Node.js.
