China Q3 2026 smartphone shipments fall 10% YoY to lowest since 2012

China's smartphone shipments fell 10% year-on-year in Q3 2026, the lowest third quarter since 2012, according to Counterpoint Research. Huawei led with a 21.3% share and Apple followed at 19.5%, together accounting for 40% of shipments. iPhone 18 Pro sales in China rose 23.5% YoY in the first three weeks.
