33 AI models retire in October 2026, 28 of them from OpenAI

33 model IDs have shutdown dates in October 2026, and 28 belong to OpenAI, all retiring on October 23. They include gpt-3.5-turbo, gpt-4, gpt-4-turbo, o1-pro, o3-mini, o4-mini and gpt-image-1, with gpt-5.6-terra, gpt-5.6-sol and gpt-5.6-luna named as replacements.
