AWS adds 14 voices to Amazon Polly generative engine, debuts Hindi and Finnish

AWS released a generally available upgrade to the Amazon Polly generative text-to-speech engine on October 22, 2026, adding 14 voices across nine locales and bringing generative voices to Hindi and Finnish for the first time. The catalog now totals 57 voices across 11 languages and 25 locales, with no pricing or API changes.
