Supermicro unveils 48U rack with 256 Nvidia Vera CPUs

Supermicro announced the SRS-VCPU-256-M0, a fully liquid-cooled 48U rack holding 256 Nvidia Vera CPUs, 22,528 cores and up to 400TB of SOCAMM2 LPDDR5X memory. It is rated for up to 22,500 concurrent agent sandboxes at 208kW; pricing is by quote and no ship date was given.

• 32 compute trays with eight Vera CPUs each, 88 cores per CPU
• Up to 400TB LPDDR5X and 300TB/s aggregate memory bandwidth
• 208kW power via three 110kW AC shelves or 800 VDC sidecar
