Google launches Gemini 4 Argon: leads on long documents, trails on hard coding

Google released Gemini 4 Argon with a 1,048,576-token context window and optional output up to 1M tokens. Argon leads on long-document knowledge work and price against GPT-6 Astra, but trails Claude Opus 5.5 and Astra on the hardest coding benchmarks. Pricing is $2 per 1M input and $10 per 1M output tokens, doubling later.
