Advanced Shader Delivery is now available in Windows 11

Microsoft announced that Advanced Shader Delivery is now generally available in Windows 11 for games downloaded via the Xbox app or Microsoft Store. The DirectX feature precompiles shaders at download, cutting load times and shader stutter on AMD, Intel, Nvidia, and Qualcomm hardware; Epic Games Store and Steam support is coming soon.

• ASD cuts shader rendering from minutes to seconds
• Supports AMD RDNA, Intel Arc B570/B580, all Nvidia RTX GPUs and Snapdragon X2
• Games must currently be installed via the Xbox app
• Epic Games Store and Steam support is coming soon
