Grafana Cloud adds faster full-text log search and Adaptive Logs Archive

At ObservabilityCON 2026 Grafana Labs made generally available faster full-text search in Grafana Cloud Logs, built on its Logline acquisition, and opened a public preview of Adaptive Logs Archive. Adaptive Telemetry cuts telemetry spend by 30–50% on average.

• Full-text search in Cloud Logs is available at no extra cost on Logline tech
• DATEV: searching ~1 TB of logs dropped from 3 minutes to under 3 seconds on ~100 GB
• Adaptive Logs Archive preview routes logs to a customer-owned object bucket
