Japan plans JPY400 billion boost for Rapidus 2nm push

Japan plans to provide an additional JPY400 billion (US$2.5 billion) to support Rapidus' advanced semiconductor production between fiscal 2027 and fiscal 2029. The government aims to achieve mass production of 2nm chips in fiscal 2027.
