Rapidus teams up with 17 firms to win 2nm chip customers
Japan's state-backed Rapidus has signed 17 chip design firms, including Synopsys, Cadence, Infosys, Dai Nippon Printing and Toppan, to help attract customers for its 2nm chips. Mass production at its Hokkaido plant is set for the second half of fiscal 2027, but no customers have been named yet.
