Microsoft pulls 8 Copilot actions from Windows 11 File Explorer context menu

Microsoft is retiring eight OneDrive-based Copilot actions from the Windows 11 File Explorer right-click menu, including Summarize, Create FAQ, Compare Files, Explain image and Extract text. The staged removal begins in mid-November 2026 and finishes by December as the company scales back Copilot amid "Microslop" backlash.
