ChatGPT adds Work mode to control your browser
OpenAI's October 15, 2026 update splits the ChatGPT browser extension into Chat, which reads open tabs, and Work, which fills forms, sends messages, downloads files and groups tabs. It supports Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera, with Firefox and Safari excluded from the initial rollout.
