OpenAI rolls out Ultrafast mode for GPT-6.1 Sol in API, Codex and ChatGPT Work

OpenAI is rolling out an Ultrafast service tier for GPT-6.1 Sol across its API, Codex and ChatGPT Work. In the API it is enabled via the Responses API with service_tier set to ultrafast and priced at 6x the Standard tier; Codex starts at 8x, then 6x for credit-based usage. Access is limited to Pro-level plans and eligible Enterprise and Edu workspaces.
