At DevDay, OpenAI unveiled GPT-6.1 Sol, a week after GPT-6 Sol. The model approaches GPT-6 Astra in agentic coding, computer use and professional work while costing one-fifth as much per token. The GPT-6.1 Astra release was scrapped over safety concerns.
