YouTube tests hiding the dislike button on regular videos

YouTube is testing a UI that moves the dislike button on regular videos into an overflow menu while keeping the like button prominent. The change follows a similar move on Shorts and the removal of dislike counts back in 2021.

• Dislike button moved into an overflow menu next to Report
• Like button remains front and center
• The same change was already applied to Shorts
• YouTube removed dislike counts back in 2021
