Google is removing per-contact RCS toggle from Messages

A teardown of a Google Messages beta build shows code that removes the ability to force SMS/MMS for individual contacts. The toggle was a common way to block spam, and its removal would make RCS all-or-nothing across conversations.

• The "Only send SMS and MMS messages" toggle appeared in an APK teardown of a Messages beta
• It let users disable RCS for specific contacts and business accounts
• Google has not commented; the move pushes RCS as the default for every chat
