CXMT to add over 100,000 DRAM wafers per month within a year

China's CXMT is expected to raise DRAM capacity from 320,000 to 420,000 wafers per month within a year and to 600,000 by the end of 2028, per TrendForce and Counterpoint. The expansion targets general-purpose DRAM for consumer electronics amid a memory shortage driven by HBM demand.
