Meta charges again for WhatsApp Business API replies in India from October 1

Since October 1, 2026, Meta again charges for service and utility messages sent inside an open 24-hour chat window in India: ₹0.115 per message after the first 1,000 free each month per number, with marketing at ₹0.8631. Accounts not billed in rupees must migrate by December 31 or messages stop on January 1, 2027.
