Amazon Ring launches Neighbours app with AI moderation and biometric cameras

Amazon has opened its free Ring Neighbours app to UK households as a replacement for community WhatsApp groups. Former UK biometrics commissioner Fraser Sampson warns the AI-moderated platform is tied to biometric cameras and lets police request and upload footage.
