Locally Uncensored 3.0.6 adds local AI computer control
Open-source app Locally Uncensored 3.0.6 added a beta computer-control feature that lets a local model click and type in approved apps, keeping screenshots and actions on the device. It is off by default, asks permission in every new chat and before sensitive actions, never touches terminals or password fields, and stops on Ctrl+Alt+Esc. It is verified on Windows, partially tested on macOS and not yet run on Linux.
- Off by default and requires approval in every new chat
- A screen task ends after at most 25 steps or 8 minutes
- Windows test: voice-requested typing took 11–22 seconds
- Windows-only; Linux and macOS not fully tested
