Google renames Gemini features: Gems become Skills, Spark becomes Task

Starting November 17, Google will automatically convert personal Gems into Skills, which embed custom instructions in the main chat and can be stacked. The background agent Spark is being renamed Task, while Scheduled Actions remain timed prompts; Task requires a Google AI Pro or Ultra subscription.
