Linux Mint 27 to ship new Superlight system monitor
Linux Mint 27, due in December, will include a new preinstalled system monitor called Superlight. It offers unified CPU, GPU, RAM and Swap graphs for the last 60 seconds, app and process views, battery health stats and an interactive storage page that doubles as a cache cleaner.
- Superlight plots CPU, GPU, RAM and Swap usage over the past 60 seconds
- Storage page works as a disk usage analyzer and cache cleaner
- On laptops it shows battery health, charge cycles and runtime estimates
- Mint is also preparing new calendar, archive manager and Velocitty terminal
