Maka launches ad-free kids streaming for $15 a month

Maka, a new subscription streaming app for kids aged 0 to 6, launched with no ads, no autoplay and no endless scrolling, and algorithms that intentionally avoid maximizing watch time. Its catalog has 25 shows, including Sesame Street and Franklin, with every episode vetted by child development experts via the Imprint framework built with the Yale Child Study Center. Plans cost $15 a month or $107 a year.
