IBM Storage Ceph speeds up clusters by keeping metadata on SSDs

IBM updated Storage Ceph, its enterprise distribution of the open-source Ceph storage platform. A new BlueFS Spillover Cleaner promotes hot RocksDB metadata to fast SSD devices to cut latency, alongside improvements to the NVMe/TCP gateway, S3 object browser and CephFS subvolume quarantine.
