Hesai launches Kosmo to turn real-world scans into robot training data
Hesai Group launched Kosmo on October 14, 2026, a 3D world data engine pairing the Kosmo One spatial camera with the Kosmo World cloud platform. Scanning a 100-square-meter space takes about 15 minutes, reconstruction runs up to 5x faster than comparable products, and a single space can yield over 10,000 training trajectories.
- Kosmo One: 8K camera with lidar, 1-inch sensor and IMU, 6K max export
- Scanning 100 sq m takes about 15 minutes; reconstruction up to 5x faster
- At a Dairy Queen store, modeling dropped from 300 hours to 15 minutes
- Partnerships with Galbot, Dexmal, Amap, RenderMan and Yuemo Studio
