Roku Gives Users Access to Experimental Apps with Roku Labs
Roku opened access to experimental apps through Roku Labs: any device owner can launch them via a tile on the home screen. Four apps are available at launch—Backdrops Studio, Roku Immerse, Roku Weather, and Roku Stocks. The company also open-sourced Roku LT OS for remotes and smart home.
