Fake Chrome app with 100,000 downloads found on Google Play

A Reddit user spotted a fake Chrome app appearing as a sponsored search result on Google Play. The copycat used Chrome's icon, screenshots and description, racked up over 100,000 downloads, and listed its developer as Hizbartech rather than Google LLC. The app was a rebranded game called Ball Bounce that showed ads instead of a browser.
