Google now lets you launch vibe-coded apps straight from the Play Store

Google has added a US feature that lets users launch personal Android apps built with AI Studio directly through the Play Store, without connecting a phone to a computer. The apps stay private and separate from the public catalog, and Google positions the tool as a path toward a professional developer account.

• Personal AI Studio apps can now launch via the Play Store
• Feature is live in the US with no PC connection needed
• Apps remain private and outside the public Play catalog
• Sharing apps with a select group is coming soon
