AWS relaunches EventBridge with subscriber-based event buses and FIFO

AWS has relaunched EventBridge event buses: rules are replaced by subscribers with filters, transforms and a single target. Buses can be shared across accounts via AWS RAM, with FIFO delivery, content- or ID-based deduplication, JSON, Avro, Protobuf and octet-stream payloads, and event retention from 1 day to 1 year. The service launched in 14 regions, and CDK support is still incomplete.
